Hey everyone.  This year’s parade theme is a “Cowboy  Christmas”. Round up all your friends and saddle up your floats to join all the Christmas Fun!

2023 Official Rules

Deadline for registration and payment is Monday December 4, 2023.

NEW THIS YEAR IS SOUND LEVEL LIMITS.  PLEASE RESPECT THOSE WHO ARE SENSATIVE TO EXCESSIVE SOUND.  THIS PARADE IS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS!  MAX SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL IS 102 DECIBELS.  (COMMON SENSE APPROACH “KEEP IT DOWN SO PEOPLE CAN HEAR EACH OTHER TALKING”)

  • The staging area (Titusville High School) will open to parade participants at 11:00am on parade day
  • THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ALLOWED IN THE STAGING AREA.
  • Note the new Process for dropping off participants for the parade, (SEE MAP)
  • Entry to the staging area must be from the SOUTHBOUND lanes of US1. Parade entries will enter the staging area via Pinehurst Avenue only.
  • Entries must be in line no later than 3:30pm on parade day
  • All Riders and Walkers must be in place no later than 5:00pm on parade day (The gates will be closed at 5:00pm)
  • Floats are NOT to exceed 8 ft. wide, 42 ft. long and 14 ft. tall
  • No Santa on floats/entries; there will be one official Santa at the end of the parade
  • Candy may NOT be THROWN from floats/vehicles/trailers or by walkers. It may ONLY be HANDED out to parade viewers. This is a serious safety issue and any violation will result in removal from the parade and may not be allowed entry in future parades.
  • Distribution of any materials that are deemed inappropriate for children will not be tolerated and the offending organization may not be allowed entry in future parades
  • There must be an adult on floats that will include children
  • Parade numbers (a placard will be provided on parade day) must be placed on the right side (passenger side) of the float/vehicle. If your placard is not visible to the judges, your float will not be eligible for an award.
  • It is the responsibility of parents with children participating in the parade to make necessary arrangements to have children met and picked up at designated locations after the parade.
  • No one may get on/off a float or entry once it has started down the parade route.
  • All parade entries will be judged and awarded prizes based on the following categories: Best Lights, Best Music, Best Children’s Display, Best Theme and Grand Champion
  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any time – before or during the parade.
